The Glens of Grandfather, is a unique development spread over 55 of the most picturesque acres in the High Country. There is over a mile of rivers and streams traversing beautiful gorges located 25 to 50 feet below.
The Glens of Grandfather, offers year round activities, including ample skiing at major resorts, Sugar Mountain, Ski Beech, with tubing and Ziplining offered at Hawksnest all within a few miles of The Glens. The Glens is centrally located to shopping, tourist attractions, and many outdoor activities, including some of the best golfing in the area. With the three streams at The Glens, there is some of the best trout fishing in the High Country. The Profile Trail at Grandfather Mountain is adjacent and connected to The Glens for some of the most challenging hiking with breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. If a Sunday drive interests you, then the Blue Ridge Parkway is readily accessible from The Glens for that ride amongst the rhododendron and views of the mountains.
The Glens of Grandfather, is being developed by Joseph Yoder, who is well known in the area. Joe has been developing successful projects in this area for over 30 years.
